Nakliye Teklifi İsteyinExplore BRF ServicesHow Much Does Shipping from China Cost?
There is no single price that applies to every country or shipment. A carton of urgent replacement parts, several pallets of furniture and a container of stone products need different transport plans. The destination country is only the starting point: the pickup address, delivery postcode, packing and service scope also matter.
BRF Logistics prepares shipment-specific quotations rather than treating a general online rate as a confirmed booking price. Ask for both the transport option and a written explanation of the charges included.
| Cost stage | Items to check | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| China origin | Pickup, warehouse receiving, packing, export handling and documentation | Does the quotation start at the factory or at a port/airport? |
| Main transport | Ocean, air, rail or road freight and applicable carrier surcharges | What cargo data, routing and validity period support the price? |
| Varış noktası | Terminal handling, release, clearance and local transport | Which charges are prepaid and which are payable on arrival? |
| Import charges | Applicable customs duties, taxes and product-specific assessments | Who is the importer, and which charges are included? |
| Delivery extras | Appointment, remote area, waiting time, special vehicle or unloading | What equipment and access does the receiving address require? |
Compare Shipping Methods Before Comparing Prices
FCL Konteyner Taşımacılığı
Consider a dedicated container for larger orders, sensitive loading arrangements or cargo that benefits from less intermediate handling. Compare equipment type, usable payload and inland transport requirements.
Explore sea freightLCL Konsolidasyonu
Shared container space can suit smaller commercial orders. Request the applicable weight/measurement rule, minimum charges and destination handling breakdown before comparing an LCL offer with FCL.
Hava Kargo
Evaluate air cargo when delivery urgency justifies the additional transport expense. Packed dimensions, actual weight, cargo screening and airport-to-door services affect the final quotation.
Samples and Express
For product approvals and small urgent parts, ask BRF to evaluate available courier or air options. Confirm cargo acceptance, chargeable weight, remote-area fees and import-charge treatment.
Rail, Road and Multimodal
Suitable destinations may support rail, cross-border road or combined transport. Availability depends on the corridor, commodity and operating conditions; compare the complete door-to-door schedule.
OOG and Project Cargo
Oversized machinery and non-standard loads require an individual review. Provide drawings, lifting points, center of gravity, dimensions and weights to assess equipment and handling arrangements.
Door-to-door delivery is a service scope that can use different transport methods. It is not a separate physical mode of transport.
Shipping Cost from China by Destination
A country-level comparison helps identify a route, but an accurate price needs a named gateway or delivery address. Coastal delivery, inland distribution and a remote project site can produce very different totals in the same country.
| Hedef pazar | Planning focus | Details needed for a quote |
|---|---|---|
| Amerika Birleşik Devletleri | Gateway choice, inland distance and delivery arrangements | ZIP code, importer details, cargo description and unloading needs |
| Kanada | Port arrival versus inland destination | Postal code, importer arrangements and warehouse access |
| Avustralya | Entry gateway, packing and receiving-site conditions | Product materials, packaging details, postcode and delivery equipment |
| Yeni Zelanda | Gateway and onward delivery location | Packing list, final address and receiving instructions |
| United Kingdom and Europe | Available sea, air or inland corridor and import responsibilities | Destination country, postcode, importer and delivery terms |
| Middle East | Named destination, documentation and inland delivery | Country, city, consignee requirements and commodity details |
| Africa | Port services, onward transport and documentation requirements | Named port, final city and consignee clearance arrangements |
| Asia and Central Asia | Available sea, air or overland route | Border or gateway, cargo acceptance details and delivery address |
| Latin America and Caribbean | Routing, connection schedule and destination handling | Port, city, importer and full packing data |

Supplier Connection: Plan Logistics Before the Goods Are Finished
Shipping problems often begin with incomplete purchasing information. A product quotation may omit export packing, underestimate finished package dimensions or assume the buyer will arrange factory loading.
BRF can assist with supplier communication and discuss supplier introductions where suitable contacts are available. The buyer approves the supplier, purchase contract and product specifications; sourcing support should be agreed separately from the freight booking.
Supplier Liaison
Coordinate factory contacts, cargo descriptions, order references and production readiness. Identify who will provide export documents and who will load the collection vehicle.
Samples and Inspection
Discuss sample collection and dispatch, and coordinate access for an independent inspection if requested. Inspection scope and product acceptance criteria should be agreed in advance.
Multiple Factory Orders
Align pickup dates and consolidation plans. Compare any freight saving against receiving, storage, repacking and additional handling costs.
BRF Logistics: From Factory Pickup to Final Delivery
Our freight forwarding services connect origin operations, international transport and destination arrangements under an agreed shipment plan.
| Stage | Coordination scope | What should be confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Cargo review | Collect product, packing and destination information | Acceptance, restrictions and required supporting documents |
| 2. Supplier pickup | Schedule collection or position equipment at the factory | Loading equipment, access, collection window and responsibilities |
| 3. Warehouse and packing | Arrange agreed receiving, consolidation or packing support | Package condition, handling needs and storage duration |
| 4. Export preparation | Coordinate customs information, documents and booking instructions | Accurate descriptions, declared data and cutoff dates |
| 5. International movement | Arrange the accepted sea, air or other available transport plan | Routing, schedule, freight scope and tracking updates |
| 6. Destination clearance | Coordinate agreed local clearance services | Importer eligibility, required documents and payment of charges |
| 7. Last-mile delivery | Arrange transport to the agreed receiving address | Appointment, truck access, unloading and proof of delivery |
Cargo Insurance and Shipment Records
Ask about insurance arrangements before dispatch. Review the insured journey, destination address, exclusions and deductible. Keep packing and loading photographs, commercial documents and receiving records. Coverage and claim settlement depend on the policy and circumstances.
Special Cargo Requires an Early Review
Flag batteries, liquids, powders, magnets, machinery, wood packaging, fragile products and oversized pieces at the quotation stage. Required documents and transport acceptance vary by product and route. Do not book using a generic description that hides the actual cargo characteristics.
Understanding Weight, Volume and Quotation Scope
For a rectangular package, calculate volume using the finished outer dimensions:
For example, ten cartons measuring 0.60 × 0.40 × 0.50 m occupy 1.20 CBM. This is a size calculation, not a freight price. Pallets, crates and protective packing can increase the final measurements.
Ask the carrier or forwarder to state the chargeable-weight calculation, measurement rules, rounding and minimums. Use the confirmed billing quantity when comparing quotations.
EXW, FOB, DAP and DDP
Specify the Incoterm, named place and agreed version in your purchase and transport discussions. EXW and FOB orders can require different origin arrangements. DAP and DDP assign different import responsibilities, so two “door delivery” prices may cover different costs.
For DDP inquiries, BRF must confirm a workable importer arrangement and the treatment of duties and taxes. Ask whether unloading, storage, inspection, remote delivery and other exceptional charges are included. “DDU” remains common in commercial discussions, but it is a legacy term; use a current agreed term and explicit written scope.

How to Control Your Total Shipping Cost
- Request packing data early. Decide whether the proposed cartons or crates fit the intended transport and unloading method.
- Compare complete offers. Use the same pickup point, destination, cargo details and service scope.
- Evaluate consolidation carefully. Combining orders can help, but delayed suppliers and extra storage may offset the saving.
- Match speed to the business need. Consider sending urgent components separately while the main order follows by a suitable economical route.
- Prepare destination arrangements before arrival. Missing documents, late appointments and unavailable unloading equipment can create avoidable costs.
- Check validity and free time. Ask when the quote expires and which storage, demurrage or detention conditions apply.
Sık Sorulan Sorular
Can I get one shipping price for every country?
No. Each quotation depends on the lane, cargo and service scope. Even deliveries within one country can differ substantially by address and receiving conditions.
Does BRF help communicate with Chinese suppliers?
Yes. Supplier communication can be coordinated around cargo readiness, packing, pickup and documents. Discuss sourcing introductions, inspections and any additional procurement support separately.
Is LCL always cheaper than a full container?
No. Compare the full shipment total, including handling and delivery. Cargo weight, volume, dimensions and handling sensitivity can change the preferred option.
Are customs duties included in sea or air freight?
Do not assume they are. Freight mode alone does not determine import-charge responsibility. Check the written quotation and agreed delivery terms.
Can BRF deliver to a home or construction site?
Delivery can be assessed for the route and address. State truck access, appointment needs, package weights and unloading arrangements before booking.
How long will my shipment take?
Request a route-specific estimate that separates pickup, export preparation, main transit, clearance and final delivery. A vessel or flight schedule alone is not the complete delivery timeline.
Can you ship oversized or unusual products?
Send accurate dimensions, weights, photographs and technical information for an acceptance review. Equipment, permits and special handling must be confirmed before collection.
