On <strong>November 28<\/strong>, Ocean Network Express (<strong>\u0e2b\u0e19\u0e36\u0e48\u0e07<\/strong>) officially declared <strong>General Average<\/strong>, requiring all cargo owners with shipments onboard to contribute proportionally to the loss and salvage costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only days later, on <strong>December 1<\/strong>, ONE issued a <strong>new and important notice<\/strong> announcing a major update to its <strong>Cargo Misdeclaration Fee structure<\/strong>, effective <strong>January 1, 2026<\/strong>. This update follows the fire incident and highlights the growing operational and safety risks associated with inaccurate cargo declarations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ONE reminded all shippers and freight forwarders that <strong>accurate cargo declaration is absolutely essential<\/strong>\u2014both for safety compliance and seamless handling across the supply chain.
